Hayden Maus (Sr) – Bellefontaine (Cross Country)

Hayden Maus is the king of the early-season cross-country wars in Logan County. The Bellefontaine High School senior beat the school’s 5K (15:33) record to finish in 1st place at the Wapakoneta Invitational. The previous mark of 15:37 was set in 1994 by Aaron Augustus.

Maus, 15th in the 2024 Ohio Division II State Race, also won the Bob Schul Invitational (D1/D2) on August 23rd. The field featured 232 runners and several top teams.
