Caleb Larson – SR. – Cross Country (West Liberty-Salem)

West Liberty-Salem produces long distance runners. The Tigers produce male runners. The Tigers produce female runners. The Tigers produce old runners and the Tigers produce young runners. For the last 50+ years the Big Orange have just, flat out, produced long distance runners.

Senior Caleb Larson is yet another in the programs storied history. The Senior owns the second fastest 5k time in school history (15:41 2nd to teammate Asher Cole).

Larson and the Big Orange men’s team won the Division III Southwest District championship over the weekend. Larson finished in 5th place.

This was a week after running to an Ohio Heritage Conference title while being named the leagues runner of the year.

Larson was 13th a season ago in the state cross country meet and was a member of the Tiger 4×800 team which placed 8th in the Division 2 state track meet.
